Audition for Youth Theater Musical “Into the Woods Jr.”
What to prepare:
- 16 bars of a musical theatre song – bring sheet music or music track (phone or tablet)
- A one-minute monologue, memorized preferably.
- Comfortable clothing for a movement audition.
12 years old and up who love to sing and act!

Director: Kathleen Horrigan
Kathleen Horrigan is the Director of Theatre and has been with Lawrence Township for twenty-five years. She has a Masters Degree in theatre education from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree from Ball State University. She has been involved in community theatre since 1992 and has directed over 150 plays and/or musicals. She has been on Footlite Musical’s Board of Directors since 1998. She is the recipient of seven Encore Awards for acting and directing in Indianapolis community theatre. She has been on the Adult Executive Board of Directors of Indiana’s Thespian Society and is a member of the Indiana Thespian Educator Hall of Fame. She has received Ball State University’s Theatre Alumni Award and their Theatre Distinguished Alumni Award. She is also the casting director for a local haunted house, “House of Trepidation” where she gets to share her love for Halloween.
The casting will be notified via email by the end of the week.
Program Fee: $265 ($45 is non refundable). After the rehearsal started, fee is not refundable.
