Phoebe
Willy Wonka
Phoebe is 11 years old and attends Holy Cross Lutheran School. Of the 5 plays she’s been in at JLMA, some of her favorite roles have been Winnie the Pooh in Winnie the Pooh, Dory in Finding Nemo, and Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka. Outside of theater, Phoebe enjoys playing violin, singing, and writing plays and stories.
Elouise
Candy Man / Squirrel
Elouise is 10, going into the 5th grade this fall. This is her 5th production at JLMA, her favorite role being Pepper in Annie. Along with theatre, Elouise loves to play basketball, read, and draw. She wants to thank Mom and VF for helping her get here, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Ivy
Charlie Bucket
Ivy is 9 years old and attends Holy Cross Lutheran School. This is her 5th show at Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy. Some of her favorite roles have been Thomas O’Malley in Aristocats, Kristoff in Frozen, and Charlie in Willy Wonka. She also enjoys playing basketball and softball and making movies with her friends.
Emmerie
Mrs. Bucket / Oompa Loompa
Emmerie, age 8, is participating in her second show at Ji-Eun Lee. She is going into third grade at Holy Cross. She enjoys playing outside with her brother, swimming and doing gymnastics.
Bode
Mr. Bucket / Oompa Loompa
Bode, age 10, is an incoming 5th grader at Sand Creek Intermediate School. A few years ago, he found his passion for the theatre and has been acting ever since. He also enjoys hanging out with his family and pets, playing video games and watching Marvel movies. Bode is also a very proud (favorite) uncle to his two year old niece, Shayla.
Olivia
Grandma Josephina / Oompa Loompa
Olivia is 11 years old and an incoming 6th grader at FCI. She has been taking violin lessons at Ji Eun Lee with Ms. Bekah since she was 5. She has been doing gymnastics since age 3, and she is excited to be trying theatre for the first time this week as a part of the Willie Wonka play. She loves to crochet and draw in her free time and adores her two miniature dachshunds at home.
Elise
Grandma Georgina / Oompa Loompa
Elise, age 10, enjoys singing, sports, art, board games and theater. This is her third year participating in JLMA summer camp.
Flynn
Grandpa George / Squirrel
We are excited to have Flynn (9) on our stage this evening! You might have seen Flynn recently starring in Aristocats Kids or The Music Man Kids. Break a leg!
Owen
Grandpa Joe
Owen, age 9, is going to be a fourth grader at Geist Elementary. He loves musicals and singing! Wonka is his sixth musical at Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy.
Chloe
James / Oompa Loompa
Chloe Austin, 10 years old, is thrilled to be performing in Willy Wonka and has a huge passion for theater! She will be going into 5th grade and lives in Fishers. Chloe really enjoys hanging with friends, playing soccer, a good book, and can often be seen making coverstars! Chloe would like to thank Ji-Eun Lee Academy, the staff and director for their leadership this week! And hopes everyone ENJOYS the show!
Lillian
Matilda / Oompa Loompa
Lillian is entering third grade at Deer Creek Elementary this fall. She loves family, friends, being silly, and being creative. This is her fourth musical production at JLMA!
Knox
Phineas Trout / Oompa Loompa
We are excited to have Knox (8) on our stage this evening! Recently at JLMA, Knox has starred in Aristocats Kids as Edgar, The Music Man Kids as Charlie, and in Aladdin Kids as Jafar! Break a leg!
Damon
Augustus Gloop
Damon, age 13, is an 8th-grader at Riverside Junior High School. He loves to perform and is an active member of the award winning Golden Harmony Show Choir. Making others laugh and smile bring him joy and is a big reason he enjoys being on stage. When he is not performing, he enjoys the outdoors and taking his creativity to the page writing stories and songs.
Nora
Mrs. Gloop
Nora ,age 10 is a 4th grader at Southeastern Elementary . Nora enjoys playing outside, swimming and acting. Nora participated in her first school play this year and loved it. Nora is a huge Taylor Swift fan!
Delaney
Veruca Salt
Delaney is excited to be taking the stage again, this time as Veruca Salt. This is Delaney’s sixth production with Ji-Eun Lee. Her favorite roles so far have been as Matilda in Matilda and Alice in Alice in Wonderland. When Delaney is not performing, she loves to hang out with friends, bake, sing, and craft.
Kinley
Mr. Salt
Kinley, age 9, is a soon-to-be 4th grader at Cumberland Road Elementary School. She has been studying piano and performing most of her life. Outside of entertaining family and friends (on and off stage), Kinley enjoys art and music, playing soccer, exploring new places with her family, doing impressions, watching 80s movies, and cheering on the Indiana Pacers.
Lily
Violet Beaureguarde
Lily, age 13, is an 8th-grader at Riverside Junior High School. Her passion for the performing arts draws her to center stage through musicals, show choir, and dance team participation. It is impossible to see her perform without feeling her love for the stage. She loves making friends and making a difference for others not only through school, but throughout her community in groups, like Girl Scouts.
Henley
Mrs. Beaureguarde
Henley is entering the 6th grade at Mission Christian Academy. This is her 3rd musical performance, most recently starred in Beetlejuice Jr. She enjoys playing volleyball and softball. She loves to draw, sing, and be on stage.
Everett
Mike Teavee
Everett is 8 years old and loves music, movies, and competing in Taekwondo. This is Everett's first theater experience and he is very excited!
Abigail
Ms. Teavee
Abigail is a thrill seeker who loves to participate in power sports including kart racing, ATV stunting, and jet skiing. She was recently noted as the youngest person in Indy to recieve a PADI SCUBA certification. When she needs to slow it down, Abigail turns to nature. From snorkeling in the Caribbean, to rock climbing in the Wasatch Mountains, and whale watching in Alaska, Abigail knows nothing is out of reach.
Marnie
Candy Kid / Oompa Loompa
Marnie, age 11, is a singer, dancer, and a writer. Marnie has been doing Show Choir for two years and has also done ballet for one year. Some of Marnie‘s favorite musicals are Little Shop of Horrors, Greatest Showman, and Hamilton. Marnie has a joyful spirit, is kind hearted, and has a funny sense of humor. Marnie also loves the outdoors and hanging out with friends and family.
Ellie
Candy Kid / Oompa Loompa
Ellie Austin, 8 years old, is very excited to be apart of the Willy Wonka cast! Ellie lives in Fishers and will be going into 3rd grade. You can often find her doing cartwheels, throwing a softball, or singing & dancing! Ellie would like to thank Ji-Eun Lee Academy, the director, and staff for all their support! And hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Emma
Candy Kid / Oompa Loompa
Emma is 8 years old and getting ready to start 3rd grade at Thorpe Creek Elementary School. She loves to sing, dance, and show off her gymnastics moves whenever she gets the chance. Emma recently had a blast playing Glinda in Wicked at theater camp and she’s so excited to bring that same sparkle and joy to this performance.
Grace
Oompa Loompa / Squirrel
Grace is an incoming 5th grader. This is her second musical appearance at Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy. She enjoyed playing the role of “Sven” in the summer 2024 production of Frozen Kids as well as meeting new friends through that summer camp experience. Outside of theater, Grace is active with dance, drama club, school choir, volleyball, and kickball. She loves to paint, spend time with family and friends, and swim.
Aubree
Oompa Loompa / Squirrel
Aubree is a 9-year-old 4th grader excited to be in her second theater performance, having made her debut in Aladdin. A free spirit with a big heart, Aubree is known for her animated personality, fashion sense, and her caring, loving nature. She has a passion for music, singing in choir for a year and performing with FHS Jr Show Choir for the past two years. This year, she began learning piano and previously spent three years in ballet. Aubree also loves swimming and spending time in the water whenever she can. She adores animals—especially her dogs and cat—and her favorite food is cheesy bread!
Lucy
Oompa Loompa/Squirrel
Lucy Chen (Age 9) is thrilled to be part of this production! Lucy lives in Fishers, Indiana with her parents, Christy and Tony, and her big brother, Xander. She loves playing soccer, tumbling, and performing on stage. When she's not acting, Lucy enjoys crafting, making videos, and learning about skincare. She’s known for her big personality, kind heart, and being a great friend. Lucy is excited to share her love of theater with you!
Kate
Oompa Loompa / Squirrel
Kate is 10 years old going into 5th grade at St. Louis de Montfort School. This is her first play! Outside of school Kate's activities include gymnastics, kickball, and soccer. She loves spending time with her family and two dogs Rye and Whiskey.
Penny
Oompa Loompa / Squirrel
Penny, age 10, is a fifth grader at Fall Creek Intermediate. She recently performed in a Cinderella knockoff, Rockerella, at Mud Creek Players Summer Camp. Penny practiced gymnastics for three years and now is on the Sparks Cheer Team at DeVeau’s School of Gymnastics. In addition to cheer and acting, she enjoys dancing with friends and running track.
Kira
Oompa Loompa / Squirrel
Kira is a 9 year old who will be starting 5th grade this fall. Kira embraces any chance to utilize her creativity. She especially loves drawing and painting. In her free time, she has been teaching herself to play the ukulele and piano. Kira also enjoys gymnastics and spending time with friends and family.
